I'm just chucking this out to see if anyone else is interested.

Me and a couple of others are thinking of forming a little convoy to head over the the Sunday Service BBQ on the 19th July.

BBQ thread here:

It will be no big deal, just a few cars bumbling along to Rickmansworth at a leisurely pace with the intention of arriving in a little group, a 'herd' if you will, of North Londoners.

smile

We're thinking of meeting up on Southgate Green about 9AM then heading down Totteridge Lane to the A41, up to Bushey and then across to wherever on Earth Rickmansworth is.

So, if you'd like to join us, would like to suggest a better route, or if you think that what I'm hesitantly suggesting is insanity of the most deluded kind, then please make it known here.

Thanking you.

Psst: thread here - http://pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f...

I'm in! Just wondering if we might want to arrive a smidge earlier - if we get there at 10am we may not get in the carpark biggrin

Looking at the map: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&source=s_d&a...
It's about 50 mins by the direct route. (And 35 by skipping straight out past Cockfosters to the M25). So, 8.45 for 9am is fine I guess. smile

Yeah, I fancy some of that. Will check back here for confirmed route and pick up the convoy. If going past Cockfosters can hang around the sation area from 08:45, if going through Totteridge we can all meet at the Orange Tree car park...

Meeting up at the Orange Tree seems a pretty good idea.

Anyone else with thoughts on this?
